Our National Program Targets

Target 1: An I.M.P.A.C.T. on the Educational System and Career Progression

Track 1: Back to Class Initiative: Scholar will assist someone to go back to school or go back for higher education.

Track 2: Reading Across America Initiative: Scholars will establish Readers are Leaders Book Clubs, A Smarter Me Educational Support Group and Adopt a School and/or classrooms.

Track 3: Just Go Initiative: Scholars will launch educational awareness seminars covering topics such as going to college, getting a trade, or going to the military, while also supporting our HBCUs.

Track 4:  Development Initiative: Scholars will promote certification programs for career development and Progression with mentoring efforts.

Track 5: Reading 101: Scholars will celebrate Black Male Teachers

Target 2: An I.M.P.A.C.T. on the Multicultural Family and Activism in Our Society

Track 1: Etiquette Initiatives: Scholars will TAS-Train Another Scholar to Pray, Manners, the Graces, Dress, and Style. 

Track 2: Pride Initiatives: Scholar will TAS-Take Another Step by Celebrating/Giving Back to Our LGBTQ+ Community. 

Track 3: My Brother’s Keeper Initiatives: Coat Day, Tie Day and Hat Day; Scholars will assist local food shelter, community pantries and/or homeless shelters, and adopt a family for holiday season.

Track 4: Mentoring Initiatives: Each chapter will T.R.A.I.N. and mentor the youth in our community.

Track 5: Action is Key Initiatives: TAS will be actively involved in the political/voting processes on the local, state, and federal levels to voice our concerns. 

Target 3: An I.M.P.A.C.T. on Health and Wellness

Track 1: Strength and Endurance Initiatives: Scholars will participate in Survival of the Fitness to Get Up and Get Moving Chapter/Regional Challenges for best health and wellness practices.

Track 2: STAMINA Initiative: Scholars will establish A Sufficient Sacrifice from Harmful foods for prevention of diseases and health awareness, advocate for cancer awareness, and exercise efforts for the holistic approach for the wellbeing of the mind, body and soul.

Track 3: Mental Health Matters Initiatives: Scholars will host Empowerment Seminars on Emotional Intelligence, Rejection, Addiction, and other issues that plague Our Society.

Track 4: Plant for your Life Initiative: Scholars will exercise their green thumbs to relieve stress and promote overall life for the better in their homes and gardens.

Track 5: UniTEA Initiative: A series of transformational, inspirational, and affirmational wellness talks with your National President will be conducted. Scholars Let’s talk. Come as you are, leave Empowered. (Bimonthly conversations)

Target 4: An I.M.P.A.C.T. on Economic Excellence

Track 1: Finances 101: T.R.A.I.N. Scholars on budgeting, securing a loan, debt repair, buying a house and filing taxes.

Track 2: Leaving Being Broke Behind Initiatives: Scholar will sponsor events geared towards Credit Repair and Monitoring Programs.

Track 3: Saving Our Selves Initiatives: Scholars will push Investing and Saving for Our Society.

Track 4: Making Our Coins Count Initiatives: Scholars will be supporting Black and LGBTQ+ Business/Services in Our Communities.

Target 5: An I.M.P.A.C.T. on the Arts

Track 1: Scholars will showcase creative expressions through Dance, Theatrics, Poetry, Culinary, Vocal and Visual presentations.

Track 2: The Archetypes of Sophistication: Scholars will highlight The History of the Outstanding of Men of Our Culture.

Track 3: Scholars will participate in The Art of the Debate for a Scholarship in an Oratorical Contest.

Track 4: CMEL Service Grant Initiative: Creative Minds Empowering Lives by Creatively Being You. Scholars will apply for the CMEL Service Grant to sponsor a local project in their community.
